Damn, I am really turning into a nerd/geek/tech head.

Followed the instructions found here. Then tested the disk on 2 different computers, it works.
<<Doing happy dance.

Now all you need to do is also integrate SATA drivers so there is no need for a floppy and F6, and make custom ones for each system with the relevant drivers on each CD.

🙂

I have one for my back up system that has the latest nForce drivers, SATA, and ATI drivers, one for my HT system that has the nForce, Leadtek TV card, and ATI drivers, and a third for my main system (P4) with the latest Intel inf's, ATI drivers, and soundcard drivers.

and just how the heck do I do that? 😀

If you have links on how to integrate the drivers I would love to read it.

Oh no, you can do a slipstream, but CANNOT use a search function... I feel a disturbance in your geekiness! 😉

Hey cut me some slack, I just went through a 2 hour personality interview for an internal position at my office, passed the server plus exam, cooked ribeye steaks on a charcol grill, gave my 2 yr old son a bath, and built the slipstreamed bootable disk. plus worked a 12 hour day. 😛

So there. 😀

what??? i didn't know SATA needed drivers to work? i thought it was like regular IDE.. just plug it in and it works..

I used some program that was quite nice...errr...

either Autostreamer (I think this one didn't work) or nLite (which is really cool, you can have it enter all the info so you just walk away AND automatically remove some of the crap off the CD [so you have room for some applications and stuff] AND turn some of the service you don't need off from the beginning).
