Well, the Army life is, well, the Army. Things aren't too bad as far as the Army goes, though. I am just tired of learning the same old things over and over. 14 years of this and one would think a person knows how to be a soldier. 😉

As far as my DC stuff, I wish I could get back to my computers and get stuff up and running. At least we have a big enough lead in the SoB front to keep until I can get back.

My BOINC projects all seem to be kaput, so those will have to wait until June.

I feel your pain. Well, at the least the part about being away from one or more computers. I looked at installing some remote access software on my mom's computer last year when I moved away, but I couldn't get a consistent ip for some reason and gave up.

Use DynDNS. It's free and you can get something like "tadc1.dyndns.org" and remote access.

no, I installed something and it worked on some of my computers, just my mom's for some reason I could never get the same ip twice. she has since moved out here so that's no longer an issue. 🙂
 
Well, today is my first day back at work. I made sure they are going to start paying me again first, now I have to decide whether to check on my DC projects, or do actual work....
