Well, I finally reformatted my HD and bought windows 7 64 bit and installed it.

I then treated myself to a new game JustCause 2

For anybody having an Nvidia GPU....the cuda water effects are just amazing, better then the Crysis water.......very impressive.

This game is a real Hoot, as long as you do not take it to serious.....the grappeling is just off the hook :awe:

I was very skeptical about this game at first.

I heard bad things about the save system and that the game did not run very well, bad handling vehicles, bad shooting mechanics.....thing is ....the FUN FACTOR is just so great that you can put up with some other things.

One of my favorite things to do in the game was to grapple two vehicles together while they were moving.

I even managed to do it even with the jet planes at the airport once.

I've tried this and i doesn't work. they just drive through it like it wasn't there.

I recently started using the bolo patch thingy to make super strong ropes and to give me unlimited ropes. I think I had too many in 1 spot and it crashed the game...lol

anyway, i had a bunch of villagers roped together and then I would rope them to trees or houses, etc and they would be hanging in midair. i had like 10 of them like this before it crashed. it was hilarious.

One thing I always find funny is when you ride on top of a car and you can hear the driver freaking out. the one with the stereotypical chinese accent is the best.

Spent around 100 hours on this and still didn't finish it, must go back for some more explosions. It was great fun through and through.

DLC was pretty cool too.

I'm stuck on some dock/harbor thing at the top of the map. There's a bunch of small islands at the top of the map and there is a dock with a large ship in that has a ton of cargo containers on it. this island also has 2 bridges leading off of it.

I am at 97% complete for this "settlement" and i can't find the last item or 2. It has to be something to destroy because I've flown all over the island and I do not get a pickup indicator on my radar/minimap thing. I just can't see anything that needs to be blown up and it's frustrating me. I've probably spent over an hour searching for it.

any ideas?

On sale for $25 on steam. Once again steam shows me how foolish I am to pay full price for it on launch. Oh well, I still got my money's worth out of it at $50

I picked the game up Friday with the BM Boom Pack, BM Aerial Pack, and the assault rifle DLC. Everything else was stuff I didn't really want, even at $0.50.

As a minimum, I'd say at least get the aerial pack, as it includes the parachute thrusters. Those come highly recommended from what I've read.
