It was only thos last weekend that the Just Cause 2 MP Beta was released for open beta testing for the first time in 2 months.

Although the testing was supposed to be throughout the weekend only, the devs have extended it for a whole week.

I had a 3 hour session of it; enjoyed every bit of it. There were races and some more stuff that we can join by entering commands.

I've played it a couple times a while ago, which apparently wasn't open yet. It was fun but there wasn't anything to do, and all the guns and vehicles were used up so I didn't have anything to do. I'm sure by now they can control respawning of vehicles and weapons, but what else is there to do?
 
Well the availability of vehicles isn't an issue any more. They are available.
There are races that one can enter by typing "/race" or demolition derby by typing "/derby" in the chat bar; without the quotes.

And doing a road trip with faction members throughout Panau is kind of fun.
 
When is it going to be released? This has been ongoing for a while now. I appreciate their work, but I just want to play already.
