Just Cause 2 Graphics Glitch

Any idea what might be causing this?
Specs are in my signature, but for this test the 980 is not overclocked and using the 344.16 drivers.

Can you post an image of what it looks like? Also try the new driver version
It's in the OP. You can't see it? It also happens in the new version, I downgraded to see if it made a difference.

Is this in single player or MP? Any mods installed?
it is single player and I have the free black market and god mode installed.

Also, it is not caused by my overclocked CPU, it happens at stock as well.

Is your video card forcing any settings, rather than letting the game handle it? Might want to try turning that off, if so.

It goes without saying that you should also try disabling as many visual settings as you can to see if one of them fixes the problem. I know that motion blur has caused similar visual issues for me in the past.

Artifacting is usually caused by overheating components - usually the GPU. Oblivion and Medieval 2 Total War used to artifact extremely bad for me until I decided to monitor my GPU temp and found out it was to the point it was almost melting.

I was able to fix it by reinstalling the game.
No I wasn't...

The 980 was not overclocked at the time, nor was the CPU.

My temps were below 70 on both as well. I'm able to monitor them on my keyboard's LCD display.

Should I RMA the 980? It seems to have issues in Unigine Heaven as well. I also notice the fan rattling at high speeds.

Back when the first Far Cry came out I had similar issues with my Radeon 9800. The card went bad. Replaced it and never had the problem again.
