I just built the PC below yesterday for under $1,000
MSI K8T Neo FSR (1)
AMD 64 3000+
1 GB PC3200 OCZ "Cheap" RAM
Thermaltake Case and 420 PSU
BTC 8x DVD+-R/RW
9800 Pro
Maxtor 120 7200RPM 8mb 133

This was my first time building, and i wanted to test the system with 3dmark03, which i got a 5828... is that ok? Bad? Decent? Just wondering, so thanks for the help.
 
That's fine, don't worry about it, but it is just a synth bench
Overclock the 9800 or mod it into an xt if you can if you want more power
Nice rig, enjoy it
