Just built my new system, I have a few questions.

I just got my new AMD64 939 3500+.
Everything seemed to work fine, until I open up World of Warcraft. Although I have good FPS.... I keep having "waves" of low fps coming each 3seconds (hard to explain, but I loose about 1/3 of my fps during a fraction of second). Also, in certain situations I drop in extremly LOW FPS.. (under 1fps) .. I get very very low performances.

I am wondering.. did I need to download special drivers for the Athlon64? Video? 4in1s? something I missed?

Well.. I didn't actually build a new system.

I changed my CPU/MOBO/MEM combo.
Went from a KT333 board, 2500+, 1gig pc2700
TO
Asus A8V, 3500+, 1gig pc3200.

my video card is 6800+ ..
made a clean format after changing the hardware.

did you do normal stuff

1.upgrade game file
2.mobo, video, windows drivers/updates
3.uninstall, reinstall
4.try diffrent video card
5.fresh windows install

Sounds like you're lacking the mobo or chipset drivers. You can either put the one's in that came on the mobo's cd, and then go update 'em. Or just go get the newest one's off the site.
