ok Abit NF7-S ver. 2.0 AMD 2600+ XP Mobile. Unfortunatly I just opened the package from Newegg and I dont think I got a good stepping says AQYHA ah but I just noticed I got a nice area of the wafer 0028 and ok week 0346

Also on the TwinMos ram I just got how do I tell if its the bad Hynex chips or not. The ram says:

Okay, you got the second-best stepping; the IQYHA is the best. That's what I have, and it will run at 12x209 (2.508 ghz) with 1.80v, actual voltage. And I suggest you start with 12x200 at 1.75v (actual), it should be fine at that speed with that voltage. If you want to go faster, then you'll need to give it more vcore. Good luck. Oh, btw, you'll need a pretty good power supply to even hit 2.4ghz, unless you're running it with an older video card (GF2 or GF3, etc).

I cant seem to get stable if I try to bump the FSB up above 200. Heats not bad right now im idle at 38C 50C to 51C under load.

Funny thing is I can run hot cpu pro 4 pro perfect no errors but every version of prime I run seems to error out after about 2-4 mins. UT2003 runs beautifully.

Oh memeory tests fine on memtest86.

Also here is the specs on my cpu

Is it possible to tell the stepping without looking at the chip? Maybe from a diagnostic program? I'm curious but don't want to disturb my heatsink.
