Well I got it and had it for about a week or so now and Im thrilled with it. Doesnt pick up 4g in my area but I get 3g H+ which is fine by me. Its silly crazy fast, the finger print scanner is fast, I dont have to swipe slowly on it, can do both hands so I can associate it to do 10 different things when I swipe. Its 1080P, and looks beautiful. Games, movies, it doesnt matter, it all just pops off the screen. For $179, to have a 64 bit, 8 core cpu, 4 core gpu, 1080p screen, no lag in anything it does, plays anything Ive thrown at it, and Ive already dropped it at over 4 feet on concrete and survived with its 2.5 arc screen it has, IM BEYOND happy with it!!!
Can you post any photos taken with the camera?
Specs look good. If the camera is on par with the current crop of flagships, I would love to get one. Especially if it handles low light pretty well.
MTK6752 SOC
Looks to score about halfway between a s3 and s4 on the only bench I could find, Antutu.
Wholly agree with above. The OP being happy and sharing info about this decent and fairly priced Chinese phone is what matters.
The price is so-so to me. The Nexus 5 can be had, if you shop around locally used in the $250 range. I see many in my area and you'll find many more at that price if you brave craigslist. It's primary advantage is latest OS updates direct from Google. I would pay that extra $70 for it.
What networks can you use a phone like this on? Does it pick up 4G anywhere in America?
Phone says 3g H+ on the top of it, just doesnt says 4G LTE which is what I was hoping for....would you like a picture, I have no reason to lie?
Don't let some of these people get to you. They post ignorant thoughts as facts and attack anyone who disagrees with them.
IIRC, Tmo uses the 2100 3G band and so do its MVNOs. So its totally possible and highly expected that 3G would work.
Which part of my post was an attack or "ignorant thoughts"? Everything I posted was from the spec sheet on his link.
Also Tmobile uses aws 1700/2100 for 3g. Having only 2100 will not work. 2100 is for Europe.
