I have had my eye on the Lian Li PC60 computer case for several months now.... I finally bit the bullet and bought one...but bought it used on ebay. The case looks to be in great shape (it is due to arrive tomorrow), but here is my dilemma...all of my drives are beige in color. I know they offer brushed aluminum faceplates, but even on the Lian Li web site all I see are face plates designed to cover equipment other than that which I have. Here's what I have...

TDK 4800B CD-RW
Pioneer 106S 16X Slot Load DVD player
Pioneer DVR-A06 DVD burner

Does anyone know where I can get brushed aluminum faceplates for the above peripherals???

Thanks ahead of time!!!

Thanks Zim...I did write to Lian Li and they suggested that I use their new faceplate (C-01), but I'm not sure that will work. It will cover all of the things like the volume dials, headphone jack, etc...but then again, I never use that stuff. Hmmmmm...maybe it would work. I'd have to play a bit to see. But thanks for the response.

I have a similar case. I also have beige drives. I was also worried about this initially, but I put the drives in the case and found I rather liked it. They don't look so bad in the silver LianLi, so I just left them alone. I was going to paint or dye or faceplate them, but decided I didn't really want to spend the money or time on what I thought looked okay. Also, it's not like my case is hidden, I keep my PCs on the desktop, so I see them all the time... Otherwise though, I guess it's a personal choice to see if you like them. Just wanted to weigh in with my opinion.

Dan:

Thanks for your opinion. Right now I have spent more than enough money just updating my computer system...(Lian Li PC60 case, Thermaltake 480w power supply, Abit NF7-S, version 2 motherboard, AMD 2500+ Barton processor, Corsair PC3200LLPT {2 X 256MB} memory, Thermalright Heatsink, Pioneer DVR-A06 DVD burner, Windows XP Pro...), so I am inclined to just leave things alone for right now. I still have not started rebuilding, but hope to start the project this weekend. I will begin by just looking the case over really well...installing the power supply...and then working on the motherboard - heatsink fan install.

WOW...didn't realize that I had replaced so much...guess I'd better not spend any more money for a while. Hmmm...guess I'll have some stuff to put up for sale on ebay when all is said and done. Anyway...thanks for weighing in. I do appreciate it.
