I have an Epox 8KTA3+ motherboard that was running a Tbird 750Mhz. I just replaced it with the 1.33Ghz CPU. When I first booted up, it only showed 750Mhz so I went into BIOS and upped the CPU Ratio thing to 12.5 so that boosted it up to 1250Mhz. But in the BIOS, it doesn't go any further than that so my max is 1250Mhz?? When I put the new chip in, isn't it supposed to go up to 1333Mhz by itself?

Thanks,
Simon

You might need to set the fsb jumpers from 100 to 133...or go into the BIOS and tell it to run fsb at 133. When you do that...set the multiplier (CPU ratio as u called it) back to default.

Also...what chipset is that mobo? If it's kt133, then you cant run at 133fsb...you need kt133a

I found a setting that said CPU Host/PCI/Spread Spec. and then there were a ton of choices. For example :

100/33/-.5
100/33/.25
100/33/.5
104/33/.5 etc etc

That's the closest thing to setting FSB speed I believe. Also, my motherboard is KT133A.
