sup everybody, havent bought a new comp in awhile so i just did because i decided to get back into the computer gaming world like i used to do back in the day. ordered it from cyberpowerpc.com heard alot of good things about it. i decided i wanted the 939 pin as well as a pci express motherboard, ive always stuck with AMD and radeon videocards. so heres the specs fellers:

CPU: (939-pin) AMD(TM) ATHLON(TM)64 3200+ CPU w/ Hyper Transport Technology ~ CAI107 [+50]
MOTHERBOARD: (939-pin Socket) Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 nForce4 Chipset MB w/ LAN, USB2.0, IEEE, & AUDIO
MEMORY: 512 MB (256MBx2) PC3200 400MHz Dual Channel DDR MEMORY [-79] (Corsair XMS High Performance Memory w/ Heat Spreader [+28])
VIDEO: ATI RADEON X600 XT 256MB 16X PCI EXPRESS VIDEO CARD [-17]

im hoping this will last for a long time and that there are alot of possiblities with this setup. obviously i got it to play games ie. hl 2 ::Drool:: will i be able to max out the graphic settings with the cpu configuration i put? thanks guys

You probably won't be maxing out any graphical settings at very high resolutions because of your selection of video card.

If you could, try and get them to change you to a gig of ValueRAM, at stock settings it will run great, and shouldn't be too much more expensive than the Corsair you are buying. You will see a noticeable difference in games at 1GB opposed to 512MB. Otherwise the 6600GT is a great choice for that system!
