Just bought my Gamecube!

Pretty cool. Got the Gamecube, 251 mem card, NCAA 2003, and a Wavebird wireless controller for 235.

The controller was free at Best Buy with a purchase of a Gamecube system.

Now to start playing... 😀
 
well a least you didnt buy a XBox. thats alll that matters. Should have bought a PS2 and Metroid Prime
 
I was considering getting an X-Box, but Gamecube has all the games I want to play anyway and after I get that $25 MIR, it's a much better deal.
 
X-box... eh... dunno... the things i want to play on the X-box are coming to the PC... the gamecube i'd give a second look because of its price... and i'm a nintendo fanboy... but PS2 is getting that freak looking auto modellista... so... i'm a race freak too... 😀
 
Seriously though... the best reason to get a Gamecube at the moment is Metroid Prime. Why don't you have this game? If you were just getting a sports title, might as well have just gotten a XBox and Live so you could play online. Get Metroid NOW 🙂

I was thinking of getting NCAA 2003. How do you like it ?

I got a XBox, but NCAA 2003 is the most game played on it. Very fun game, particularly if you have housemates like me who like to play.
 
Xbox has Halo, Halo owns me.

Halo2 will own me on the Xbox live for months...

I think Xbox has a lot of really good titles on the way, at the moment the selection is a little slow. The Clancy games and Halo are still keeping me busy tho 🙂
 
Now hit the Blockbuster video stores and pick you up some games with the Buy 2, Get 1 free promo. You can get three decent games for $40-$50 if you are lucky. Super Smash Bros Melee, Sonic Adventure 2, Resident Evil, Super Monkey Ball, Pikmin, etc are all $25 or less.

NCAA 2003 is pretty cool. The game is difficult on the default setting, much more challenging than Madden 2001.

I haven't gotten Metroid Prime yet because of my roommate, sort of. I bought a sports game so that we could play against each other. I'm going to get Metroid Prime in a few days though. 🙂

Its good but difficult if you dont understand NCAA rules.
 
Zelda: The Wind Waker is getting crazy reviews and first impressions everywhere! Gah!

I'm going to have to play it before Ican get over the graphics style. =P
