They're ok. Not my style, and out of my price range, but they're nice. Who'd you buy them from?

A guy that owns a frame shop in IL.

I'd feel better about the price if most of the money went to Haiti. I could chalk it up to helping someone who doesn't have much in the way of opportunity. I don't know how the economics work in this situation, for the artist getting money. I guess he doesn't really even have to be in Haiti. he might be living in Manhattan :^D

Yeah, it would be nice to support Haitian artists in Haiti directly. The artist of one of these paintings lives in Chicago and is fairly well known.

About $190 each framed and they look pretty big. I don't think you paid too much. That's assuming the frames are good quality. I've seen worse. You should see what my uncle has. All painted by himself, all not very good.

The framing was done by a professional and is top notch. The pieces are large too.
