Just started playing it, and i must say it controls suprisingly well for an RTS on a Console. Perhaps not the Mouse and Keyboard speed a PC can give, but once you get the hang of it, it's very easy to control.

Perhaps Halo Wars has some hope.

I dunno.
I rented it recently and I thought the controls stunk compared to the computer version.
For me it wasnt even an issue of getting the hang of it. It just wasnt that great.

Perhaps I just love the computer more for some games.

Cool, I'm still learning the game, but once my skills are adequately honed I'll message you.

I just can't get into it with the controls (played the demo.) Maybe if you haven't played that many RTS games, you can adapt to the console controls. To me, having played BFME 2 on PC, playing it with a controller is very frustrating.

I can see how playing the exact same game on the PC would make the console version quite difficult, because you would be in the habit of using the PC controls as opposed to the console ones.

I've played the demo for BFME2 and C&C3...and I thought the controls were perfect acceptable. No, they don't match the mouse on a PC...but I didn't get frustrated playing. If I had spent the money necessary for a computer to run the games decently...I'd me much more likely to get the PC version...but the benefit of playing it on my console makes up for the slightly less precise/complex controls. If StarCraft 2 comes out for the 360...I'll certainly purchase it. I'm also interested in Halo Wars.
