Just bought heatsink/fan

I just bought a

XP-90 Thermalrite Heatsink
and a

Panaflow 92X25MM Fan

I already have a retail heatsink on my chip

I would like to know steps on the best way to replace the heatsink/fan.

My concerns are,

I've heard when installing the XP-90 you have to press down hard onto it. I don't want to break anything when doing this, what should I do?

What's the best way to deal with removing old thermal paste and putting new on?

Do I have to do anything special to the fan to make it read RPMs and be able to control it?

I have a K8V-SE-Dlx. Can ASUS-probe control the fan?

Thanks

First after you remove the original HS you need clean off the CPU Heatspreader to remove grease or whatever was the contact. U want to use a lint free cloth and some 99% rubbing alcohol. Once it is clean just put a small amount of thermal grease on the center of the cpu heatspreader. THe XP-90 should just lock into the retention bracket on the mobo. I don't remember having to press that hard. Lastly the Mobo should have settings in the BIOS like Q-control and yes Asus Probe can monitor the fan if it is plugged into the board.
