I don't notice horrible loading times, though after running it I cannot play any other games without a reboot.

Probably, but not so well. I would not suggest a lage map with lots of civs.

I bought it online with one of those "download now" options and played it for a few hours. It was way too involved for me to continue playing it. I think I'm ADD. Waste of $50.
