just bought ASUS A7V333 with XP2000 and 512MEG samsung 333 memory, need tips

i just bought all the stuff online and am waiting for the UPS driver to deliver it. what bios version will be on it and what problems in setting up am i likely to run into? i am upgrading from a A7V133 to this board so it will be faster memory, cpu and system ( i hope 🙂 ) also, i noticed they were selling ram sinks for the memory but i did not buy them, should i have? i run my computer with no case and house fan blowing on it for extra cooling. is this board 8X AGP? all opinions wellcome
