UPDATE!

Ok guys, I reinstalled the refference drivers, upgraded from 9.0b to 9.0c, and reinstalled my chipset drivers. My new score is 11503

Anyone with a simular config getting the same?

Also, I ran a timedemo in Doom 3 and got the following:

1024x768x32
high detail
59 fps

1280x1024
high detail
48fps


The odd thing about running the timedemo, is that the first time through it I scored a 48.2 on the first test. There was some pauses when pulling the flashlight out. But, when I reran the test immediately my score increased by 10 fps. There was no more studdering, so it seemed the textures were already cached. I woner how the tests are run via anandtech/hardocp and co. Hrm.

Anyways, what do you guys think? Sound about right?

considering your cpu, you had a good vid card before almost doubling your proformance isn't half bad 🙂
 
It's too low. Try running Driver cleaner and reinstalling. You should be getting 10,000+ even with your cpu as '03 is mostly videocard.
 
The problem is that your GPU core is running at 0MHz. And the memory should be at least 1.1GHz, not 0MHz.

Nah thats fine it doesn't read my Mhz on my Card correctly either. Its says I have like a 23mhz core clock and 21 mhz Ram clock.

According to 3Dmark03 I have a memory speed of 31MHz and a Core speed of 21KHz lol wtf? KHz weird...
 
I checked in the nvidia control panel, and it seems that ansio and AA are off. I did use eVGA's drivers (61.77) not the nvidia refference. Do you guys suggest I go to nVidias?
 
Did you have any real-time antivirus running? Software firewall?

Update to DX 9c?

No AV softare running. I'm running 9.0b, should I update? Image quality iss et to performance now. It was at quality when I ran it.

Is it? I keep seeing peeps posting 13000+ scores, but I guess they have A64 or FX cpus. Mine is a little slower.
 
Precisely. For your setup's CPU and bandwidth you are right on the mark, 3D that is.
 
Wait, I just looked in the "advanced options" and it looks like "Trilinear optimization" and "Ansiotropic optimization" are both set to "on". Is this a problem? Are those forcing Ansio?

I believe those are just performance tweaks at the expense of IQ. No way you'll get that score in '03 with aa/af on. You have both disabled correct, and not on app preference?
 
to fix the D3 Time demo use "timedemo demo1 1" The extra 1 has the demo cache so it won't be loading during the demo.
