Just bought an Escort ZX2

After scaring the piss out of my two half-sisters (One of which is pregnant) giving the car the shakedown of it's life, I cut the older of the two a check for $2500 (It needs tires, so I got a $500 rebate since that's what Mr. Tire told her it'd cost. Tirerack says I can get away with $150-ish for the exact same tires that are on it now (Kumho grand touring 185/65/14's)

If the ZX2 is the "sport" model, Good-Year RSA 15" tires were installed on the aluminum rims. At Good-Year, the RSAs are only $149 - each, before mounting, balancing and tax.

heh i had a ZX2 (hot model, came with 15" tires and a spoiler!) when they first came out. I test drove the auto and did not like it. Later i test drove a stick for fun and really enjoyed it.

I ended up buying a NEW ZX2 =) that was a fun little car.
