Just bought an Apple Pro Keyboard A1048. Does anyone still use these?

I purchased the keyboard at a local PC thrift store and can't get over how well typing is on it. I have been used to programming on the Microsoft Sculpt keyboard at school and the Saitek Eclipse 2 keyboard at home. I thought it'd type terribly when I first tried it out but to my delight it feels like an old Tandy/IBM keyboard, just a lot softer at the click as I know this can't be mechanical.

Does anyone else use this keyboard or similar? I feel like I've been missing out since I've started to use this. It's paired with a Logitech G500.

Get a Topre. :)

Or an original Model M.

That Apple pro keyboard is nice but low on the totem pole of godly keyboards.

Are the Unicomp keyboards the exact same thing as the Model M keyboards? If I can get a brand new one of the exact specifications I might just do so.

I went down to free geek and they had a whole cache of old, mechanical keyboards with the original large PS2-like connectors. All of them felt the same in terms of feedback. At work I messed around on an IBM Typewriter from around the same time as the Model M came out and will be picking up a similar keyboard soon. I really didn't know what I was missing out on until I bought a decent typing keyboard like the one I have. I'm not a great typer but I do about 45-60 wpm depending upon the subject matter. These made me not appreciate the chiclet-like keyboard that is in both of my chromebooks.

I still use one at work. The only issue is junk can get into the edges of the keyboard and its a pain to clean.
