Eternal Darkness is a great experience, but just rent it and play through it if you can. Try to avoid throwing your gamecube out the window though 😉

Resident Evil 4 is the first game you should for the cube.

Is it that good? Can I just rent it and finish it?

as with all RE's, you can but you won't complete the game. but who the hell cares?

get GT4 for PS2 if you like driving.

Dude, game of the year for pretty much every magazine.

10/10 game.

You cannot rent it and beat it, it is fairly long.

I did not have a gaming experiance like RE4 in a long time...

FFXII for PS2 is well worth it. If you haven't played the others you can also get just about every FF game ever made, either anthologies type discs, psx and ps2 games. That should take you a good 500hrs easy.

Chrono cross is another good psx rpg.

Yup, every game in the core series except FF III.

Hmm, a friend of mine beat RE4 in about a week. He's either really good at video games or just plays too much.

If you like the jukebox idea for PS2 games:
http://www.thegiantstore.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=344&HS=1

USB devices like that are garbage and not worth the money. Plus, PS2 games are dirt cheap and lots of fun.

Garbage and not worth the money? They're great if you have a USB hard drive and are too lazy to get up and put the disc in 😀

Compatibility is low, transfer rate is terrible - you're better off getting your system modded. But, I'm biased because I mod PS2's.

Why the hell is Mario Power Tennis like $55 used and it was made in 2004? They can't make more of them? Why would nintendo do that

you have my choice game- ff12, for gamecube, definitely resident evil 4. i had so much fun when i had that game.

sega superstars is one of the best eyetoy games ever and my favourite ddr for ps2 is DDR max 2 (but I mostly use stepmania for PC now).

I love peripherals like that, I can't wait to get Guitar Hero.

((Ours has the HD advance mod.))

Resident Evil 4 is surprisingly fun, and I have not ever played any of the other ones. Do yourself a favor and get Guitar Hero 2, so much fun.

Oh yeah, check out half.com

If you're in to flight sims, ace combat 4 and 5 are really good IMO. For driving, Gran Turismo 4 is a must. There's also the FF franchise you can get as well.

I've played Gran Turismo 1 for PS1, and I really liked it, though I can't say anything about its sequels or the about the other games SSP mentioned, I just haven't tried them.

For the PS2 however, Star Wars Battlefront II can proably entertain you for hours if you do a campaign with one player as the Empire (or Separatists) and the other player as the Rebels (or Republic). The only drawback to this game is that it's two-player at most. That said, skirmishes don't take terribly long and trading off between four people wouldn't be too bad at all. I can't speak for Battlefront I though, never played it.

Gamestop has 25% off coupon for used games out right now.

Is there a coupon for B&M?

I just bought 6 games from them for $33 they shipped all the games for 1 shipping fee of 2.99 good deal imo.
