So here is what I have so far.

Silver slim PS2
Games: Tony Hawk Project 8, Antigrav, FFXII
Accessories: Logitech wireless controller, eyetoy, dvd remote, 32mb memory card

Questions: What is the best DDR out there? What's the best SSX? What other games are good enough to own?

Silver Gamecube
Games: Mario Sunshine, Metroid 1, Metroid 2, Super smash brothers melee, Mario Kart Double Dash
Accessories: 3 Wavebird controllers, 2 Memory cards

Questions: What other games are 4 player and keep you active like smash brothers? What is the best Bond "N64 Goldeneye like" game out there? What other games are good enough to own?

I am not interested in 1 Players except for RPGs that have lasting appeal. I bought these since there are usually 4 of us in the apartment at any given time and it would be great to have 4 player games ready to be played.

I am looking into guitar hero and DDR right now.

Edit:

Update

Just bought
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 PS2
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 PS2
Tony Hawk's Underground PS2
Twisted Metal Black PS2
SSX Tricky PS2
Super Monkey Ball 2 GC

Hit me with more titles.
I almost bought resident evil 4 but I really need multiplayer

You know that you can play PS1 games too right? That broadens your choice for the PS2.

I liked Parasite Eve.

SSX Tricky is probably the best if you've never played them. SSX3 is awesome too, but quite a bit harder. I don't know about the newest one. You should look into Guitar Hero too.

for the gamecube, I'm not sure if you are into the zelda games, but if you are, pick up zelda: twilight princess . Also if you can find zelda collector edition. It comes with ocarina of time, majora mask, and the orignal legend of zelda and zelda II from the nes.

Definitely Gran Turismo 4 if you enjoy a driving simulation, if you like arcade racing, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 is also fun.

resident evil 4. gamecube version has superior visuals and shorter loading times and the ps2 version has widescreen. it is my favorite console game ever. please buy it, you'll enjoy it tremendously.

the burnout games are a lot of fun in multiplayer too. also, are you into sports games?

If you're in to flight sims, ace combat 4 and 5 are really good IMO. For driving, Gran Turismo 4 is a must. There's also the FF franchise you can get as well.

check out star ocean III: Till the End of Time for the ps2, also Wild Arms 3 and Wild Arms Alter Code F

check out final fantasy tactics, well if you can find the game at a store. this game has a great story,

go to ebgames.com or gamestop.com and look in the used game section. 200+ for gamecube and 500+ for ps2 cheap cheap cheap

PS2: Guitar Hero 1 and 2 without question. Other great games are God of War, Shadows of the Colossus, and Bully.
GC: Resident Evil 4, Eternal Darkness, Zelda Wind Waker.

I played guitar hero last night, it's a pretty fun game and I would definately buy myself a copy if it weren't so expensive...if you're going to get Guitar Hero, get the version with Guitar/Bass or Rhythm/Lead for better multiplayer.

As for DDR, just go with DDR Max2. It should be fairly cheap right now and it has a lot of the best songs, and it's a good way to start playing. Also, start with some cheap $15 mats so you don't invest too much money into it if you end up not liking it.

For the Gamecube, try Mario Power Tennis for a relatively fun, replayable multiplayer game.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beats Donkey Konga 1 and 2 (BONGOS!)
Super Monkey Ball 2
Mario Golf
Mario Power Tennis (Why is this game still $50? 😕 )

Guitar Hero 2 for PS2. If crack could be digitized, it would be in the form of this game. It will waste hours of your time.
