Just bought a Dlink Dir-555 to replace my aging Dlink 624. SSID = Dlink, Channel = 6 security turned off until I figure the print problem.

Previously, I had a HP 4050tn(built in NIC) network printer wirelessly bridged using a DLink 2100AP wireless G bridge and it worked fine with no problems.

Now, I can't seem to get it working wirelessly (works hardwired, though).

I am forced to assume that there's something wrong with the config for the bridge since my other printer (HP D7460 photoprinter w/built in wireless) works fine wirelessly.

the 2100 gives me the following options but i'm not sure which is correct for my purposes.

Access Point
PtP Bridge (must input a Remote AP MAC Address)
PtMP Bridge (must input >=1 MAC Address)
AP Repeater
Root AP MAC Address (must input MAC Address)
AP Client (must input MAC Address).

does that sound like where the problem lies?

More info from the Bridge
Channel = 6
Super G mode = OFF
802.11g mode Only = On

any ideas?

thanks alot,
rp.

Since you changed routers, the wireless password may have changed.
Go into the printer Wireless config settings at the printer and reinput
the SSID Name and the Wireless Password. Also check the channel
number that you are using on the printer is the same as the router
is broadcasting on for wireless.
Reboot the router and see what happens.
