Just bought a new laptop...have a few questions...

Never been much of a laptop user, but recently I just purchased an Apple Ibook. I have a few questions in regards to the battery...

1. Should I charge the laptop fully before I start using it? Or can I just start using it out of the box?
2. When I use the laptop plugged into an outlet, should I unplug the battery from the laptop or does it not matter?

Are their any other things I should be aware of when using my laptop? Thanks!

First of all, you are posting on AnandTech and you bought an Apple? I think you might want to see a doctor first.. But seriously.. charge your battery the first time, and then don't worry about it.. LI-ON batteries will be just fine if you have them charging all the time, and most modern laptops cut off the charging at a certain point anyway..
