If you read my previous thread, I was in the market for a new winter coat. I strolled over to Eastern Mountain Sports in Ann Arbor and looked at what they had. I saw their Gore-Tex XCR-laminated coat (like The North Face's Mountain Light Shell), but it was over $200 cheaper than TNF's coat. So I decided to leave, thought about it for awhile, and went back tonight to buy it.
Here are some pics: unzipped, and zipped.
The coat is completely waterproof, and I had to buy the shell and the fleece separately. The shell was on sale for $169 (normally $229) and the fleece was on sale for $79 (normally $99). I'll definitely be putting this coat to LOTS of use walking to class on FREEZING Michigan winter mornings.
