I bought Auto Modellista too, fun game :)

Anyways, are there any sites that you guys know of that focus on PS2 online gaming? I'm looking for some other games to play online, maybe a list of games that support online play? So far besides AM, I've got Madden 2003...and that's it for online games :D Anyone with some links/other info?

Yeah... on a side note, I'm not that impressed with the games, I thought the gameplay would back up the great visuals...but it feels way too much like Ridge Racer (the first one) IMO... I was expecting more of an arcadey GT3...

Do you need to buy the ethernet adapter from Sony, or will any adapter work? I have a Belkin one here, which I was planning on trying out, but I don't have any multiplayer games.

there's no place in a PS2 to just connect any old adapter ;) you need to buy the Sony one (which isn't too bad @ 40 bucks, it's a modem/ethernet adapter)

Not true, there is a USB version by a 3rd Party. I saw it in Best Buy and thought it was interesting.

I have to Sony version though, got it the day it came out a few months back... ;) (too bad I don't really play any of the games online)

Well I thought he was assuming you could plug a PCI or PCMCIA card into the PS2 :p

I'm surprised to hear about the USB one...how much was it? I wonder why anyone would want that over the original adapter...

I got a USB adapter from Dell for $10 a few months ago, that's why I'd want to use it. :p
