Just bought a Logitech MOMO

and I'm terrible with it. The settings seem ok, but I just really suck. I can drive ok if I try to hold back a bit and not push for 1st, but as soon as I try to catch up I start hitting all the walls and spinning out.

I was way better when I was using the keyboard.

Playing Grid right now btw.

Anybody else here have a MOMO, and can tell me what their Grid settings are?

i can't get mine to work with GRID, but it works great with DIRT2,

win7 64bit

I like it alot, fun w/ eyefinity setup

I have to tone down the "Effects" unless nobody is near me, it's extremely loud and shakey

Momo was my first wheel too (replaced it after 2 yrs with G25 when power adapter failed and FF wasn't working) after being very competitive with keyboard in a couple games. In the first 2-3 months, I could not touch my kbd times, and in the first few weeks, honest to god, I wanted to throw the wheel through the window. A couple years later I'm better and more consistent, and now can't drive with kbd for s*it. So, have some patience, a steering wheel won't make you instantly better and faster.

That said, try searching through Grid's community boards, I'm sure they'll have pointers to some good settings, and you may also want to set things up in the Logitech profiler.
