Just bought a KR7A-RAID, id there anything I should know?

Reportedly WinXP won't install to the raid drives if using the shipping bios, so get the bios update (bios KR7A6G) before install if you need it. Only other issues I've heard of are memory sticks need to be firmly inserted into the dimm slots, they don't seem to bottom out as easily as most boards. My install went without a hitch though, so I can't tell you much more.

A lot of the new ones are shipping with the 6G bios now! The one I use personally, and one I just received for a build both came with 6G as well as others i've heard of. Just take your time and double check everything to make sure it is installed and firmly into place and you'll be fine!

Mine came with the 6G Bios installed, purchased it at MWave as they had the best price 169.00
It installed like a dream, didn't even reformat as I was using an Abit KT7 Raid board and had the latest via drivers and Hotpoint Raid drivers already installed.
Just make sure you seat the ram good.

Damn! Someone finally got me!

This board looks great though, the more I look around the more rave rebiews I find of it and after checking all the BBS's I can't really seem to find anyone complaining!

It will be here tomorrow, one more day!
