Ever walk in and make a spontanous desicion? Well i did today on a all black matte HK P7 PSP... Gun is brand new but manufactured in 94' for $1111... Now I have to wait 3 days to shoot it🙁

I can't find a price anywhere online on this thing... it's the gun from the orginal die hard the German terrorist kingpin had...

I'm not blowing you off, but there are H&K sites. My older brother in Birmingham, Al.
collects them. He's not on line though. Mean looking small arm. Always liked the way the ejected empties looked like little castles, caused by the notches cut into the chamber for gas relief of the case....:sun:

Hmmm VG grades going for $1300 and seriously used for around $650-700... I guess not too bad.. Thanks for the link🙂 I don't feel as bad now.

I have a P7M8 and a P7M13 ("squeeze cockers"). Both are great shooters and very accurate for their sight radius.

The M8 is nice and flat, carrys well, and is an instinctive pointer. It's comfortable to shoot, even for long periods of time.

I love the Hks.

Great find on your part.

Good luck, have fun, shoot safe.

P7's have always been pricey, wish I had the money to spare for one. 🙁

Ya but the workmanship on this thing was incredible. The store owner would'nt even let me touch it until I bought it!! I know and trust him so it's cool but after getting into it's action it felt at least 2x the quality/fit/finnish etc of my Glock 20, Sig 220, Sig 228.. Funny I've never been able to see one before.. Now I know why.. I mean it's a work of art and engineering and craftsmanship... They don't build things like this anymore.. Perhaps the older german made $1300 walthers PPKs could compare but that's it.

Scott- So you think not too bad in terms of price eh? What is the m8 and m13? American versions? .40 cal?

very nice... but I always wanted to know what is the difference between the P7M8 and the PSP...anyone know?

edit: i'm guessing after looking at thepages... psp = european mag release?

I know, with the P7, you definitely get what you pay for. It may look a little odd, but it shoots like a dream.

The P7M8 and P7M13 are called "squeeze cockers" because the front grip strap is the cocking and safety mechanism (if the front strap is not pulled / squeezed to the rear, the striker is locked in the "hammer down" position).

The other feature I like is the mag release: It's not a button that pushes into the frame, it's an ambi lever (like a slide release) that can be hit with the thunb (works OK) or the index finger (works great / very fast).

Both are 9mm. Both have polygonal barrels (as do most / all HKs). The M8 is 8 shot +1 the M13 is 13 shot +1.

IIRC, I paid ~$600.00 for the M8 about ten years ago, I got the M13 (plus cash) in a swap for writing a database application for the gunstore the year after that. The last time I looked, the M13 was ~US$1300-1500.00 and is not generally available (except used or "new old stock" because of the "assult weapon" rules of a ten shot magazine restriction.

I also have a Sig 226 (K-Kote, tritium sights), IMI Jerrico 941 (now called a "Baby Eagle" the kit has setups to make it a 9mm or .41 AE), and some others (had Glock / don't like Glock / sold Glock). If I could only keep one, it's be one of the P7s.

I don't shoot as much as I used to. I've looked at the USPs and other HKs. They're still a big favorite.

My other favorite pistol is a Colt Delta Elite (stainless, first edition) 10mm (Bren 10, not the wussy .40 cal stuff they're selling today - scaled down from a REAL round so the sissy FBI accounting-degree-weenies can shoot it without messing up their calculator-button fingers 😀 (( Just Kidding FIBBIES!))).

The pistol most associated with James Bond is the Walther PPK, which replaced a Beretta .22 .... I think in "From Russia, With Love" or "Dr. No"

What I find interesting is the HK p7 psp I bought has a serial of 203xx while on this HK pro site, in addition to stating the PSP guns were only manufactured between 76-78 and mine is circa 1994, the PSP serials only ranged from 001-239, then 240-250 are for the PSP/P7... only 250 were made. I now think it is a P7M8 even though it clearly said PSP on the gun and "police self-loading pistol" aka PSP in the manual...Text
