UPS just delivered it this morning. One of the coolest toys I have bought in a long time. Oh yeh this my first digital camera.

oh just saw Fuji has 6x optical zoom which is really nice to have.

I still got the same old digicam I've had since like 1998. It's a Sony Mavika Floppy cam, with a 10x optical zoom. I think the only good thing about it is its' zoom, but the quality at 640*480 leaves something to be desired.
 
Fuji's are the biggest pieces of crap I have ever laid my hands on.

That was the worst camera I've ever had.

Never again will I bother with Fuji.

Are the prints going to be large?

If not, 2MP will probably be plenty for you.

I had this cam for a while. Not bad, easy to use. Picture quality wasn't spectacular tho IMHO.

I just got the Minolta Dimage s414.

I went from a Fuji 1400.

I must say this camera is sweet so far. I still have a lot to learn going from point and shoot to actually being able to control settings.

Pictures are HUGE too 😀

Maybe if I disliked Fuji cameras. 😉

I've used the Finepix 1300 (my mom has it): Very nice picture quality (IMHO), but no zoom. 🙁

Finepix 1400z (work has one): Same picture quality, w/ 3x optical zoom.

Hopefully this one will compare well with those. 😀

Nice camera, however it's regular price at Circuit City is $199.99. I like it, for the 2 megapixel category, Fuji 2800 is probably the best. I've always recommend it to my customers and they all went home happy. Good buy, now go take some pics.

8x10 may be questionable with a 2MP camera, depending on your level of anal-ness in regards to quality. 😉

I don't see it on the CC website. They only have the 2650 and 3800.

Best price I can find for it on-line is $250.
