Now I can control winamp and DVD (divX) movies without leaving the couch:)
It comes with fully adaptive software. You can make use of all the shortcuts you want. Cool toy for 5$.

Just found another fun use of it. I scared the hell out of my bro randomly opening and closing programs, playing winamp pumping the volume up and finally shutting down the pc. He walked to me explaining we got some virus:D

Details, details.

For $5 that would be nice. I was looking at something similar but it was about $15.

The ATI Remote can do all that too....and then some.

Best thing about it is it's Radio Frequency and not some IR crap.

Of course, you have to pay $200 or $300 for that. It's a wee bit more than $5.

Not to mention, ATI's cards suck....

...for gamers.

Actually I got it with a refurbed 8500DV from Newegg. It was just suppose to be the bare card, but Newegg included the Remote and all the cables. Turns out the card didn't work so I sent just the bare card back.
Crap, now that I think about it I forgot to send the remote and cables back!! Whatever shall I do!

I have an X10 mouse remote that is RF & IR. I got it for $17 a couple of years ago, but now X10 sells it for $50.

I highly recommend it otherwise (even though I hate supporting those popunder/spamming bastards).
