Heh, yeah I just pushed the cork into the bottle and that worked but when it popped through wine squirted way up into the air and some went onto my face. Heh, now I know how my girlfriend feels 3 nights a week.

Have your date suck to cork out. If she can do it, you know she's a keeper as she's a very good cork-sucker.

I used a drill and drilled out the cork once, then decanted the wine to get the crumbs out. As a bonus, it was hilarious.

I would never do it with a good bottle, though. You can't get all the cork crumbs out.
