I just bought myself a 50" LG pg25(replacing my 19" tube). I have been looking for a big screen TV for over a year now but hadn't planned or researched any one that throughly, the purchase was a spur of the moment thing. Does anybody have any experience with this set or a similar one(good or bad)? Is there anything i should know or do before i set it up and how easy is it to adjust the picture for the environment i've got it in.

Also can you get GOOD wireless surround sound speakers? i hate cords.

Thanks

Edit: i figure i would ask here because at the big box stores you can't always trust what they tell you. Sadly the internet is often a more reliable source.

I just bought a 42pg20. Right now it's being broken in so I have no experience with settings.

i do realize they have cords for power, thats not a problem(there is a plug behind my couch). Normaly i'd rip up the carpet to run the wire under there but i live in an appartment so i don't want to go to all that trouble.

Edit: let me know how yours turns out coldmeat

Just get any system and get this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...&cp=1&id=1171058476489

I have it with my Athena Micra 6 an I can't even begin tell you how good it sounds. Its phenomenal. It sounds easily AS GOOD as my wired fronts, shockingly so. I had gone through other wireless rear speaker senders, and nothing has worked even remotely as good as these (they all either had static, frequency cutoff, etc), but these sound great.

I don't really have a budget yet, i guess i could go to $1k if i could justify it. The rocket fish speaker kit does look pretty good though i may check it out this weekend. Thanks.
