You never know. You may just find it in the FS/FT forum some time soon.

Along with a destroyed helmet and some tattered rags? heh. Be careful dude.

Oh i plan on being careful. I just finished a saftey class, and I work for our local EMS Service. I've seen too many people injured and killed on bikes to not have some fear and caution.

Specs: I actually don't know too much about motorcycles. What are you looking for? It's a 750cc engine with about 2000 miles on it.
Actually, here you go.

There are forums for the sport bikes, and in one of them I read some very good advices (I suppose the advices are very good, I can not try them 🙁 )
Have fun, and drive carefully

750cc and a new rider.....

OMG>.. bad idea... im sorry adam.. but frankly the odds are stacked against you how much ever careful you are..

reason.. its not the problem with the straight line, its the corners.. more over you will be afraid to hit the gas, or the one time that you do it, it better be on a long straight empty road in daylight.. so you know what to expect..

the ZX7R is a 750cc supersport.. I would never recommend it for someone who is just starting out.. i know too many ppl who have crashed before with high powered bikes..

Since you wanted tips:

1. get life insurance
2. get motorcycle insurance
3. get health insurance
4. get proper gear - do not ride in t-shirts and shorts. Always wear atleast jeans, boots, gloves, jacket and helmet. This is even on the hottest days..
5. Always be hydrated, relaxed, rested and have food in the system (so you ahve lesser reasons to make mistake)
6. check airpressure, and chain regularly and other basic stuff.
7. stay off the main roads until you know you can do a uturn, a left and right turn, a swerve, a sudden stop without going off on one wheel and ofcourse be able to keep up with traffic.
