Kicks ass over the 1800FP.

No way, I thought 19" has ghosting issues compared to the 18".

I want a monitor like that.

I even thought about getting the 15" Dell LCD since I play most of my games in 1024x768 anyway.

I'm so jealous...I think this summer it's going to be a battle between a nice and big LCD or a better projector for my HT (so either I get a $1500 or $1000 projector, I don't have one already).

And yes, it will all be for my college apartment. w00t. ;)

I've been whacking it to a 19inch lcd for several months now. Y'all late to the party.

I went with the Planar PX171M. Wanted a 19" but was a bit high on price, and shipping Hawaii was the real killer. I like my 17" a lot though, 16ms was a big plus as I like to do a lot of gaming.

According to Maximum OC the 1800fp was a better gaming monitor.
But yes the 18" is 30ms and the 19" is 25ms, but I don't put a whole lot of faith in specs especially after seeing viewsonic's supposed contrast ratios.

Something must be wrong with my 1800FP.... it has a slower response time, but there is no ghosting... I had better call Dell.... :D

I picked up a 15in Envision LCD for $160 after coupon and tax at staples. It is no 19 incher, but it gets the job done and is real easy on the eyes.

i'm thinking of something similar, but dual 15" just isnt as impressive as a single big LCD or a big/15" combo...imo.

I have one of each. If the 1900fp ddn't have a silver bezel, I probably couldnt tell them apart.

True, but I didn't have the cash to spend $400+ on a LCD. I'm running dual display with my 15" LCD and my 17" CRT as the second screen. You really couldn't beat the price on this screen I picked up.
