My $ .02.....

Don't use Mushkin stuff, so can't really say, but offer the following comment.

Went over to Sharky's and looked at their Buying Guides and noticed they love Crucial stuff, especially their 256m stick, cas-2, for web price of $ 171., plus s/tax and no shipping (as of yesterday)....you might want to go there and see what they have to say....

Don't let it get to you; doesn't mean you shouldn't be satisfied with your purchase !

Just an alternative opinion.

;)

I've used Muskin memory exclusively for 2 years in my own system and every system I build. In my opinion their stuff is tops!!!

Mushkin make realllly nice memory - overclocks well and is really stable... my only question is why you didn't wait for DDR?

Can't bear the wait much longer... I'm Running a K6-2 400 now with 128meg ram and a pretty crappy older MSI motherboard with the ALI chipset.. went thru hell with the GEForce card I bought. nice hard drive that does ATA66.. but the motherboard is only 33. So its time for something better. I am very interested in the DDR platform but I'm going to go with the KT133a MSI Turbo or KT7A-Raid. and enjoy that speed while I wait a couple years for my next system to mature. Lets face it no matter when you buy your going to see it become obsolete very quickly. I've had alot of problems and im ready for stability and I believe the KT133a chipset will provide me with that service
until the good stuff like SerialATA, QDR-SDRAM, 64Bit processors and OS's, and who knows what else shows up!

It's the thrill of the build too.. I just love it!.. like good high quality crack! :)
