Just beat Halo PC again

Man, the ending sequence to the first Halo game has gotta be one of the best I've ever played.
This drives me crazy, cause it took them so freakin long to release the first Halo pc port, it's probably gonna take just as long to do the second one.

I wanna play it now!!
I've played it on a buddy's XBox but all we ever play is multiplayer, and I want to play for the storyline goodness.

Which is so fvcking stupid, like there's a lot of code to change... the goddamn game runs on a PC already!

They don't have to change it to be compatible with everyones different computer configs? 😉

The Halo 1 PC game was merely meant to show more people the game. The same people who wouldn't buy a console for a single game.

However, after they have people hooked, they can draw more people into the XBox console.

The PC port was meant for nothing more than to build a customer base for the Halo 2 XBox.

Now that they have achived that goal, there is no need to make a Halo 2 PC port.

My guess is that they will release it on the PC eventually. Once the Xbox version isn't generating revenue anymore, there's really no reason for them not to hire someone to port it over and make some cash on the PC sales.

But it won't be for awhile.

i agree wit PinwiZ once the xbox market is saturated with the game and everyone who would buy an xbox does microsoft will undoutably bring in revenue wit a pc port. but probably not till xbox 2 hits holiday season.
