just ate half the box of tums.

Chug some vinegar.

Well, besides the vomiting induced by drinking straight vinegar, assuming some made it to his stomach and stayed there, would that not cause gas/exploding or something?

That's the hope.

Aren't you afraid of him ripping a hole in his stomach?

I assume he's not an idiot and remembers first grade science. Who in their right mind chugs a bottle of vinegar because some guy on the internet said to?
Eh, a reaction of that speed would probably just result in throwing up.

If it were Mentos, though... I wouldn't drink diet coke.

I did that as part of a scavenger hunt, chewed up an entire pack of mentos, then drank a diet coke. I survived

Pics or it didn't happen.

Mentos doesn't "react" with the Diet Coke. It's supposedly the introduction of all that "surface area" all at once combined with the disturbance of them dropping and the particular texture that promotes the formation of bubbles.

I thought that somehow the mentos causes the CO2 to lose its "binding" with the liquid, so all the CO2 tries to escape at once.

Chewing up mentos ruins the surface where CO2 comes out of solution.

OP should try something stronger than vinegar... HCL? derp!

my friend tried to commit antacidcide a long time ago. They found him in the bathroom sitting in a corner foaming at the mouth. They thought he was rabid and wanted to put him down.

true story.

Ummm, welcome to the internet. FWIW (that means, for what it's worth), there are millions of idiots connected to the internet these days.

Also, OP, I believe that you'll be able to complete the set tomorrow. Go to the store & buy a box of sidewalk chalk. You'll notice the red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white chalk. But conspicuously missing is brown. I believe in about 16 hours, you will fill that void.

void. Somewhere there's a joke in there, but I can't quite reach it.

If you need to take that many tums very often, then you probably have something a little worse than just heartburn. Talk to your MD, and he'll give you stronger pills.
