Nice

I would save some $$$ and get and NEC DVD burner. For $140, I would skip the Antec P/S and get a Corsair 620w or 520w. Check JonnyGuru.com for power supply suggestions.

I've blown 4 antec PSU so I think they are complete overpriced junk. Last one was last week inside a P150.. took back to frys and guy said they come back all the time and showed me 6-7 boxes of return to vendor...You'd do better with cosair/seasonic s12 series/fortron, etc.

Have you seen this case in person? I have and it's a POS too. Useless side fringe that blocks no noise like doors normally do and you still have the pain of opening a door, but this time it's two 'doors'! Get another case. And for $180 you can get into some real nice cases from Li lain, Silverstone, coolermaster, etc...

Rest looks fine.

Have you thought about Mystique?

It looks a lot like Armour, only thicker metal, cheaper, auto door opening and full closing..all around just better.

I have not thought about that (Mystique) - in fact, I haven't seen it before :) I've never used a CoolerMaster case.

The problem with cases is that there are too many to choose from. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely take a look at it. It looks pretty nice.

I'd definitely ditch the Plextor burner for either an NEC, Pioneer, BenQ, Liteon, Samsung, etc that can be had for ~$30. They will do just as good and cost way less.

Also, I'd get a better PSU, those Antecs have been having tons of problems with reliability. You'd definitely be fine until/unless you go SLI with a high quality 500W like the Seasonic, Enhance, etc...

Truepower Trio is Seasonic OEM, though. Wierd if they've been having problems (though I recall that claim in a previous thread).

I'm going to go with the Corsair HX620w PSU. Haven't decided on a case yet. Also, I'm going to ditch the Plextor for something cheaper.

The Antec Trio is built by Seassonic but not at the same level as Seasonic's own units or the Seasonic Corsair units.

I would also opt for a better case, Lian Li is good.

Arggg ... now the motherboard and hard drive are out of stock on Newegg. Hmm, there is a combo deal on the eVGA board with the Corsair XMS2 Dominator memory (TWIN2X2048-6400C4D).

I'm looking at the Lian Li cases now ...

The power supply isn't available at Newegg, but I did find the case and power supply at CensusPC for a decent price - cheaper than what Newegg is offering them for.

I'd use the Corsair HX620 power supply instead of the Seasonic M12 if low noise is one of your goals. That little 60mm fan on the M12 power supply doesn't turn off once it turns on. I really wish that Seasonic would have given the 60mm fan its own fan controller in this case.

Ooops, I did mean to remove the 500Gb and go with the 320Gb - since it's the only thing in stock at Newegg :)

As for the HX620, thanks for the tip!

Also, I think I'm going to go with the EVGA 8800GTS card and save some cash ...

Thanks everyone!

I just put together a system with this case and IMHO it kicks butt! Assembling is a breeze and its tool less + its cheap. Give it a thought (looks much better than the pic)

I echo others suggestions regarding the PSU. My friends have had bad experiences with ANTEC PSUs; so stay away from it. I personally got a 550W Foxton which was recommended in ATs buyers guide for Conroe and its been good so far. 106 bucks for a burner is not worth it (notepad files arent that big anyway..so just get a cd burner for 10 bucks..lol)
