Why put up with the charade of letting the Iraqis govern themselves when Bush is going to install a puppet government? Just annex Iraq. Besides, after Iraq is made the 51st state, they can pay taxes. That way, they can pay for being switched from being ruled by a megalomanic tyrant to a conservative, Israel supporting Christian president. No one in the world community will say a thing, because they know that they'll become the 52nd state.
