Just an interesting feature of WD Hard Drives

Thought this might be useful to those of us with Western Digital HDDs. I recently noticed a regular clicking and thought that it meant that the drive would fail soon. However, it seems that this is not the case... have a look.

But the HD is moving so that would have to cause more wear. There has to be a drawback to their method.

It's moving a second every 15 seconds; not really that much movement...
