Hello. This is just an idea, no flames as I don't know a lot about CPUs' internal workings 
GFX cards are becoming more and more "VPUs" instead of just silicon to display an image on the screen.
So what if we advance that idea further.
Say you have a master chip which gets requests from software(like CPU today). then it splits everything to its own sections. The GFX card for example will handle EVERYTHING that has to do about the graphics.
So we have chip for audio, chip for video and chip for physics/AI/world events. basically the CPU, it'll also do windows stuff. however nothing with audio/video.
after those another slave chip(to the master) to coordinate the output from the 3 chips.
