Just an FYI to ATOT on condition of forums yesterday.

Not sure how many of you read the forum issues forum, but I did find out what happened yesterday to slow things down so bad for us here. I posted this in the other thread in forum issues, and I'll list it here for all to see just so you're aware of what happened.

"Ok, update for you guys. I found out from a close friend of mine that the hosting provider who host Anandtech, Sudhian/SFFtech, AMDMB, and numerous other tech sites got doss'ed hard yesterday. Hence the slowness of the forums. So yeah, this hurt everyone. Just wanted to give you an FYI."

So as you can see, it had nothing to do with the forums themselves or the Admins. They did a great job keeping the site as fast as possible even though the whole hosting provider was getting buried under a dos attack. Two thumbs up to the admins by the way. :)

Two thumbs way down for the idiots who doss'ed us yesterday. May their computers and them rot in digital hell. :|

Except the subscriber servers don't work.

(unless that has changed in the last hour or so)

Oh, it wasn't just AT. It was everyone on the Ridium networks. The whole freaking ISP. They desided to go for the big score/group target. Jerks. :|

But definate thumbs up to the admins. :D
