Heh, I don't know. Not whinning and such. I find it funny how ppl will take a game seriously. Just yesterday I was playing FEAR demo multiplayer, the game was nice but i didn't win I was 2 kill short for hit 105 (2nd place)

the worst trash talking i have ever heard in video games is playing halo 2 on xbox live.

even playing halo 2 on system link on kai or something, there isn't the type of trash talking you hear in matchmaking on halo 2. its ridiculous. i find myself playing a lot w/out a mic now a days unless i'm playing with friends.
 
Just keep in mind that, for a lot of those people, winning an online game is the pinnacle of their existence. For you, it might be entertaining... for them, it's the essence of life.

I agree with you, a lot of people take it much too seriously.
 
That trash talk is weak. But yet it still got to you enough to make a thread about it. That means it is effective and you lack the ability to filter it out. And as long as it is effective someone is going to keep doing it.

I got in a chopper v chopper battle yesterday in BF2. I got shot down by this guy in a pretty damn good fight. He turns around and starts talking sh!t about how much we suck. So we shot him down 3 times in a row and then started killing his chopper before he could even take off and then won the map. He quit next map.
 
I always talk smack in video games when kids are pretending that they're good at the game, but then I talk even more smack when I'm playing pickup basketball, some people are just competitive and don't like winning. For me, playing a game isn't about the game itself, it's about winning, just how I am.
