I was fortunate enough to be able to buy all the fans and cables and grilles earlier this summer for a project that a buyer backed out on, I've sold my old PC, and I'm building the case they didn't buy into a sweet SMP rig.

yeah, this place nearby me has 4x4ft piece for about 20 bucks, i might as well give it a try, seeing my case sounds like a jet engine. I just hope the two intake fans in the side of the case arnt the main cause for the noise, which they could very well be...

Sound IS vibration. I've used the dynamat super stuff. It's no miracle worker but does help.

If you want to save some money on Dynamat type products go to Parts Express.
They have 10" X 10" sheets for $1.35
29" X 32" for $11.50
32" X 54" for $17.90
They also sell all the other Dynamat and Cascade products. I have used a lot of these products for car audio installs and the cheap stuff is EXACTLY the same as Dynamat brand.
