I recently determined that my memory needs a portable PostIt notepad in my pocket (sounds kinky doesn't it?), so I set out to find a cheap unlockable smartphone with Wifi or possibly an iPod Touch such that I can have such a gadget to remember things for me. I came across what appears to be a great deal for an N810, so I jumped (and should have it early next week).
Now, couple of questions I have:
- It appears Android has been ported for it. Does anyone know if Android will run natively or will it run similar to the Android ports for WinMo HTC phones?
- I read that in order to use it as a phone (Skype in this case), it essentially works like a speaker phone, else you have to use headphones. This "review" was from a couple years ago, so I'm wondering if it's possible to use it as a more traditional handset. I'll be interested in using a SIP client on it.
Any other cool things I should know about it in the meantime?
