The thinkpad is a decent lappy for what I would use it for. 1ghz, 256mb, 30gb hd, etc. My question is....how hard is it to fix/replace a laptop screen? It is a 14.1 XGA screen. The go on ebay for 200 shipped or so. Think it is worth it to fix it? Also, what is the lcd inverter? The screen, if you push on the right area seems to work, as if it isn't "seated/mounted" correctly, but I don't know. I am a noob to working on laptops. Could the inverter be the problem? Thanks for any help!

might be a loose cable on the display. would probably require unscrewing the casing and taking a look to see if its 'seated' properly
