Just about to order my AUDI TT Coupé (225) What Colour? Black or Metalic Silver?

I just don't know what to go for Black looks better but I'm concerned that it shows the scratches more that the Metallic silver will...

well having seen both at the same time,
silver highlights the design cues and lines on the car. i usually prefer black on cars, but TT really looks better in silver imo, plus the black headlight housing contrasts nicely with the silver finish

My friend owns one and I've had the pleasure of driving it. I personally wouldn't own one, not very practical or exciting for it's price (I'm sure I could find a car *I* like better / performs better for that price). It is different than most other vehicles and a nice car overall.

My vote is also for Silver, which is the color my friend has too.

It will and will be harder to clean, but everyone and their dog has a silver TT. Makes it very very freaking boring and totally ununique. Go with black.

I also would never consider a 225 horsepower car for that price (god help you if you go with the 180), but this thread isn't about that is it I have seen a black TT lately and it looked VERY nice.

Not to scare you or anything but have you done your research on TT yet ?
A lot of people have had problem with it. Mostly electrical.
It's a nice car though, just want to make sure that you have done your homework before plunking down $35k+ for it.

TT = purty car not worth your money. you know what powerhouses/sexy cars you can get with that money?

And go with Silver at all costs.. Black looks Very nice but scratches are so noticable.

I just realized that I don't think I've ever seen a black TT... the silver and gray colors are all over the place, and I've seen red, blue, white, etc. but I don't think I've actually seen a black one. Weird.

I'm not a big fan of the Blue, personally. Pic of Aviator Gray (I got it wrong in the first post).
