Well folks, I know what I want, the check is coming tommorrow and I'm excited. :) I've just a few questions about vendors and such. I was able to find a 1.4ghz TBird for $182.99 shipped from Migrate Zone. Problem is, I can't find any info on these guys, I've checked Bizrate and Resellerratings and I can't find them listed. Has anyone purchased from these guys before? I noticed that they say it takes 3-5 days just to ship it, maybe I should spend the extra $10 and buy from NewEgg, who hasn't had any bad reviews from what I've seen.

Here are the other components:
-Proc: AMD TBird 1.4Ghz 266mhz bus $182.99 shipped from Migrate Zone
-HSF: Vantec FCE-62540D $19.98 shipped(15.99 + 3.99) @ Nerdsbyte
-Memory: 512MB DDR PC2100 Crucial RAM $118.70 shipped from crucial
-Mobo: EPOX EP-8K7A $135 shipped from NewEgg
-Case: Antec SX830 $93.94 shipped from EggHead
-Harddrive: IBM 60GXP 40GB OEM $124 shipped from NewEgg
-Floppy: Mitsumi $15 shipped from NewEgg
-CD-RW: Lite-On 12x10x32 retail $102 shipped from NewEgg
-DVD: AOpen 12x 40x retail $51 shipped from NewEgg
-Sound Card: Turtle Beach Santa Cruz $78.28 shipped from MWave
-Video Card: CardExpert / Gainward GeForce 3 64MB retail $350 shipped from NewEgg
-Fans: 2 Panaflo 80mm ball bearing 4-pin 24CFM $20 from 2cooltek.com
-Mouse: Microsoft USB Intelli Mouse Explorer OEM $37 shipped from NewEgg
arctic silver II $8 from 2cooltek

Total: Roughly $1350

I want to thank all the people who helped me choose the components. I'm sure glad I asked for advice here. :)

Yeah I would spend the extra 10 bucks and go with newegg...you know them and they ship a lot faster and use fed-ex which is the best..

I am sorry I never took part in the first setup of this system...looks great.

One suggestion though...

Get the aopen 1232a 12x10x32x cdrw drive...why???

1)full retail package w/ nero 5.0 upgrade to 5.5 for free
2)justlink (burnproof technology) is actually newer and slightly more advanced
3) ranked the best 12x by www.storagereview.com, beat the plextors, teac, etc...even beat the yamaha 16x in several areas and only finished behing the 16x speeds of yamaha and PLextor.
4) I thought it was 100 if in stock at newegg.
5) Aopen has a better reputation for making quality drives, ie cd-rom and dvd-roms...
